This policy explains what information Evolute Media LLC ("Evolute Media", "we", "us") collects when you play Wolfnight: Last Furnace (the "Game", app ID com.evolutemedia.wolfnight) or visit this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain English. If anything is unclear, email support@evolutemediagames.com.
1. Who we are
Evolute Media LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company, registered in Wyoming, United States. We are the developer of the Game and the "controller" of the personal information described in this policy (the company responsible for deciding how it is used).
2. What we collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, photos, contacts or precise location to play. The Game and our partners collect the following automatically:
- Device identifiers:
- on iOS, the advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking when the Game asks;
- on Android, the Google Advertising ID (GAID), unless you have deleted it or opted out in your device settings;
- the identifier for vendors (IDFV) on iOS and the app-set ID on Android, which are only shared between apps from the same developer;
- a random in-game player ID that we create on your device.
- Device and app information: device model, operating system and version, language, time zone, screen size, app version, network type and mobile carrier.
- Approximate location: country and region derived from your IP address. We do not collect GPS or precise location.
- Gameplay events: for example the level or region you reach, sessions and their length, tutorial steps, minigames played, items earned and settings you choose.
- Purchase events: which item you bought, its price and currency, and the store transaction reference. Payments are processed by Apple or Google; we never see your card or bank details.
- Ad interactions: which ads were shown, watched, clicked or skipped, the reward you received and the advertising campaign that led you to install the Game.
- Crash and performance logs: stack traces, device state at the time of a crash, and frame-rate and loading-time measurements.
- Support messages: if you email us, your email address and whatever you choose to include.
This website does not use cookies or analytics.
3. How we use it
- Run the Game: save your progress on your device, deliver purchases and rewards, and keep the Game working on your device.
- Show ads: show you rewarded and interstitial ads, cap how often you see them, and measure that they were delivered. Where you allow it, ads may be personalised to your interests.
- Measure our marketing: learn which ad campaigns lead to installs and play, so we can stop paying for ads that don't work. This includes Apple's SKAdNetwork, which reports campaign results to us without identifying you.
- Improve the Game: understand where players get stuck, test different versions of features (A/B tests) and balance difficulty.
- Fix problems: find and fix crashes and bugs.
- Keep the Game fair and secure: detect fraud, cheating, ad fraud and abuse.
- Support: answer your messages and handle requests about your data.
- Legal: comply with the law, tax and accounting rules, and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on these legal bases under the GDPR and UK GDPR:
- Consent: for personalised advertising, ad measurement and attribution, and analytics that uses device identifiers. We ask for this in the consent prompt the first time you open the Game (powered by Google's consent tools through AppLovin, using the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework). You can change your choice at any time in the Game's Settings → Privacy menu.
- Performance of a contract: to provide the Game, purchases and rewards you request.
- Legitimate interests: crash reporting, security, fraud prevention and basic, non-personalised ad delivery, where these do not override your rights. You can object at any time (see Your rights).
- Legal obligation: where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.
If you decline consent, you can still play. You will see non-personalised ads, and analytics will run in a limited, consent-mode setting.
5. Partners we share data with
We share information only with service providers that help us run, fund and improve the Game. They process it under contracts with us, and some also act as independent controllers for their own purposes, as described in their own privacy policies:
| Partner | What it does for us | Data it receives | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|---|
| AppLovin (MAX) | Ad mediation: picks and shows ads, consent prompt | Device identifiers, device info, IP, ad interactions | applovin.com/privacy |
| Google AdMob | Ad network (via AppLovin) | Device identifiers, device info, IP, ad interactions | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Unity Ads | Ad network (via AppLovin) | Device identifiers, device info, IP, ad interactions | unity.com/legal |
| Mintegral | Ad network (via AppLovin) | Device identifiers, device info, IP, ad interactions | mintegral.com/en/privacy |
| Pangle | Ad network (via AppLovin) | Device identifiers, device info, IP, ad interactions | pangleglobal.com/privacy |
| Liftoff (Vungle) | Ad network (via AppLovin) | Device identifiers, device info, IP, ad interactions | liftoff.io/privacy-policy |
| Google Firebase | Analytics, crash reports (Crashlytics), remote settings and A/B tests (Remote Config) | Firebase app-instance ID, device info, IP-derived region, gameplay and purchase events, crash logs | firebase.google.com/support/privacy |
| AppsFlyer | Install attribution, deep links from ads, SKAdNetwork measurement, ad fraud protection | Device identifiers (where permitted), device info, IP, install and in-game events, ad revenue | appsflyer.com/legal |
| Apple and Google | App stores and payments | Purchase transactions (they hold your account and payment details) | apple.com/legal/privacy · Google |
We may also share information with professional advisers (lawyers, accountants), with authorities when the law requires it, to protect our rights or users' safety, or with a buyer or successor if our business or the Game is sold or merged. In that case this policy, or one at least as protective, will continue to apply.
6. Ads and tracking choices
- iPhone and iPad (App Tracking Transparency): the Game asks whether it may track you across other companies' apps and websites. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", we and our partners do not access your IDFA, and ads are not personalised using it. You can change this any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in Settings → Google → Ads (wording varies by device).
- In the Game: open Settings → Privacy to review or withdraw your consent choices, or to opt out of personalised ads and the "sharing" of data for advertising.
- By email: write to support@evolutemediagames.com with your in-game player ID (shown in Settings) and we will apply the opt-out for you.
Opting out does not remove ads. It means the ads you see are less tailored to you.
7. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our partners operate in the United States and other countries. If you play from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in countries whose data protection laws may differ from yours. Where the law requires it, these transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK addendum), or a partner's certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
8. How long we keep data
- Gameplay and analytics events: up to 14 months in Firebase, then deleted or kept only in aggregate form.
- Attribution data in AppsFlyer: as long as needed to measure campaigns, typically up to 24 months.
- Crash logs: up to 90 days.
- Purchase records: as long as tax and accounting law requires (usually up to 7 years).
- Support emails: up to 2 years after your last message.
Your game progress is saved on your device. Deleting the Game deletes it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- object to or restrict how we use it, including for legitimate interests;
- receive it in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time (this doesn't affect use before you withdrew);
- not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that significantly affect you (we don't make any).
To use these rights, email support@evolutemediagames.com with your in-game player ID from Settings. Because we don't hold your name or email address, the player ID is how we find your data. We answer within 30 days. See how to delete your data. If you're in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
10. US state privacy rights (including California)
If you live in California or another US state with a consumer privacy law, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing". We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
- We do not sell your personal information for money.
- Showing personalised ads through ad networks can count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under California law. You can opt out of that sharing in the Game (Settings → Privacy), by turning off ad tracking on your device (see section 6), or by emailing us.
- Categories collected in the last 12 months: identifiers (device and advertising IDs), internet or other electronic network activity (gameplay and ad interactions), commercial information (purchases), and approximate geolocation. Sources and purposes are described in sections 2 and 3, and recipients in section 5.
- We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
- We honour Global Privacy Control signals on our website. The website does not track you either way.
You or an authorised agent can make a request at support@evolutemediagames.com. We may need to verify the request with your in-game player ID.
11. Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13, or under 16 in the EEA and UK, and is not intended for them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, contact support@evolutemediagames.com and we will delete it.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit between the Game and our partners and access controls on our partner dashboards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Game or the law changes. We will change the "Last updated" date above. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the Game before it takes effect and, where the law requires, ask for your consent again.
